    Barium sulfate can be used as raw material or supplement of raw lacquer, ink, plastic, rubber and storage battery; surface coating agent for impression paper and copper round paper; sizing agent for ramie textile industry; clarifying agent for glass products to defoam and add luster. Besides, it is used in porcelain, enamel, coriander, dyestuff and other industry and acts as the raw material of manufacturing other barium salts. Barium sulfate is a raw material for other barium salts. In inorganic industry, barium sulfate is used for producing other barium salts such as barium hydroxide, barium carbonate, barium chloride and so on. Barium sulfate is used in rendering and preparing printer's varnish when produce wood grain printing plate in firewood industry. It is used as green dye and lake to produce physique filler in organic synthesis.
